Teach for America - St. Louis: Holiday Party Photography

I was honored to shoot the Teach for America - St. Louis 2008 holiday party. The party took place in the historic Old Post Office in downtown St. Louis, which has been renovated and houses the Teach for America St. Louis offices, among others. Present was an amazing group of people - educators, business leaders, and donors - all gathered to celebrate accomplishments and to get excited about 2009.

Maxine Clark of Build-A-Bear is very involved in the organization, and she made sure that everyone present got a Hal or Holly Moose:

People had a great time partying the night away!

Really, what party would be complete without speeches?

During this portion of the evening, Dr. Alice Roach was named the 2008 Outstanding Principal of the Year and was presented with her award. Dr. Roach sounds like an amazing leader and an inspiration to her students and fellow educators alike. Please stop by her blog and let her know how much you appreciate her efforts!
