St. Louis Wedding Photography: Lisa and Matt

Lisa and Matt's St. Louis wedding took place last month at Webster Groves Presbyterian Church. We were thrilled to be their wedding photographers!

Matt (upper right) and his friends strike a pose near an appropriate sign inside the church:

Here's Lisa, prior to the ceremony:

Here are some highlights from the ceremony:

With the ceremony over, it was time for their exit and limousine ride:

Lisa and Matt held their reception at Lumen, which has one of the most unique lighting setups of any venue in St. Louis. Here are some details, dancing, and partying (aided by DJ Jeff Grieshaber of Soundz Xtreme) from the rest of the night:

Congrats, Lisa and Matt!

St. Louis Senior Photos at Tower Grove Park

Now is a perfect time to have senior photos taken in St. Louis. I don't mean the sit-in-a-portrait-studio-and-awkwardly-pose kind, I mean the let's-go-and-do-something-fun kind. Taylor found me online and we met up in Tower Grove Park a few weeks ago for her hour-long senior photo session.

Here are some of the highlights of the shoot:

At about this point in the shoot, we came across this cute little baby bird as we were roaming about taking pictures:

Its mother was not comfortable with us shooting so close to it, so she descended from the branches overhead and attacked Taylor - and then me! It was clearly time to pick another setting in the park that wouldn't be so dangerous.

Taylor brought her friend Cassie along on the shoot - you'll be booking soon, right Cassie? :)

Have a great last year in high school, Taylor, and thanks again for choosing me to take your senior photos!

St. Louis Baby Photography: Baby Elliott

Ian and Gabi, Elliott's parents, asked if they could reserve me for a baby photography session with their three month old while they were in St. Louis visiting family. Ian and Gabi moved to California from St. Louis when they heard there was gold out West, then they had Elliott, and now they've gotten quite comfortable with the high cost of living and constant tremors in the state voted Most Likely to Fall Into the Ocean. I keep telling them they can move back immediately without incurring any shame, but so far I think my comments are being ignored.

Anyway, Elliott had some fantastic expressions during our brief visit together at Laumeier Sculpture Park:

It looks like we wore Elliott out!

It was great seeing you (and meeting Elliott), and we hope you make it back soon - permanently. In the meantime, feel free to market my services to the other gold miners!
